Ask a Question →We recommend booking 4 to 6 months in advance, especially during peak season (April–October). Inca Trail permits have a strict annual limit and sell out very quickly. Contact us today to check availability for your preferred dates.
All our tours include: certified bilingual guide, entrance tickets, transportation from Cusco, train tickets (where applicable), accommodation on multi-day tours, and organic meals on trekking tours. Full details are listed on each tour page.
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before tour departure receive a 100% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours receive a 50% refund. Please send cancellation requests to info@happygringotours.com.
Cusco sits at 3,400m (11,152ft) above sea level. We recommend spending 1–2 days acclimatizing before any trekking tour. Our guides carry supplemental oxygen and know all the signs. We'll guide you through safe acclimatization.

The Classic Inca Trail (4 days) requires moderate fitness — you'll hike 12–16km/day at altitude. We recommend regular cardio training for 2–3 months before your trip. We also offer easier alternatives like the Salkantay Trek or train-only options.
