Day 1
Day 1 Moray - Maras – Ollantaytambo. (L and D)

After the pick up in cusco you will start your tour in the Inca village of chinchero, which was one of the most important populations during the Inca empire.

Then you will visit the next archaeological remains of moray and maras. It is a freakish sight, it is located close to village and is an amazing complex of salt mining. On the other hand, the Inca ruins of Moray comprises of mysterious concentric circular terraces which for some scholars is an agricultural research center.

Lunch in ollantaytambo at the agreed restaurant and then you will explore the typical example of urban planning of the Incas still inhabited like in the Inkas epoch. You will find here a great archaeological complex called (Fortress) although it was a tambo, a lodging and resting spot for travellers of 15th century.

Day 2
Day 2 Ollantaytambo – Km 82 – Ayapata (B, L and Dinner)

Your Inca trail Peru team will pick you up at 06:30 am from your hotel in Ollantaytambo to take you to the starting point of the hike Km 82. (The first checkpoint) Today you’ll trek around 3 hours along the Sacred Valley of the Incas, you will get to see Inca ruins Llactapata and small villages along the walk. After 5 hours of hiking you’ll get to the lunch spot Wayllabamba and after lunch we start the first of our climbs uphill for two hours to get to the base camp Ayapata.

Day 3
Day 3 Ayapata – Dead Woman’s Pass – Chaquicocha (B, L and Dinner).

After the Organic breakfast we start the most difficult part of the hike, which comprises of an abrupt and steep ascent to Dead Woman’s pass or Warmihuañusca at 4215 m – 13, 790 ft. the highest point of the Inca trail expedition. Then we will cross the second highest peak Runkurakay pass at 4,000 m. After descending to Sayacmarka inca ruins, you are 3o minutes away of the second camping place Chaquicocha.

Day 4
Day 4 Chaquicocha - Phuyupatamarca Pass - Wiñay Wayna

After breakfast, we’ll hike for 2 hour to the last Summit Phuyupatamarca. The best area to enjoy the flora, fauna and landscapes. Phuyupatamarca means “City in the Clouds” and Intipata Sun above the terraces” ruins visited visited in the morning. Afterward lunch you get to visit Winay Wayña “Forever Young” amazing inca site. After you will go back to the campsite for dinner and small ceremony to tell thanks, give gratitude and say goodbye to your amazing porters team, your appreciation of some tips and will be the last time that you see the porters.

Day 5
Day 5 Wiñay Wayna - Machu Picchu - Cusco

This is the highlight of your trek, you head straight to the checkpoint to enter Machu Picchu. Once the site opens you hike on the way to the Sungate, where you’ll get your first spectacular view of the citadel. Arriving to the last capital of the Incas, you’ll have a 2 hour walking tour where you’ll visit the most important temples of the city. After the walking tour you’ll have free time to explore the ruins by yourself or the alternative climb up either Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, but these require an additional ticket. In the afternoon you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo Inka town to carry on by bus back to Cusco.

Day 6
Day 6 San Pedro Market - Lunch - Massage

You will have breakfast in your hotel, then you will explore the Cusco streets and the native San Pedro Market – The oldest Peruvian market of South America. This antique Andean market will Keep you entertained for hours. After visiting the traditional market you’ll go for lunch at Happy Gringo Tours restaurant, where the same chef who was hiking with you the Inca Trail Peru will prepare a lunch for you. You have the option to choose one of the menús you ate and liked on the hike to Machu Picchu. After lunch you’ll have a massage in your hotel.
