Cusco Hotel Transfer

Early morning, we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to transfer by private vehicle passing Sacred Valley of the Incas to a starting point of the trek at Abra Malaga (4,350 m.a.s.l.) which is the highest place of the trek. There we sit on a bicycle and start biking down for about 4 hours to the small town of Santa Maria. On the route, you can appreciate an Inca site, cloud forest´s birds, medicinal plants, butterflies, snakes and tropical fruits. After dinner, we spend the night there.
Optional tour: Rafting in the afternoon in Santa Maria, 3-5 class of rapids. The price of the rafting is extra USD 45.
We start the second day of our Inca Jungle Tour at 07:00 am with a delicious local breakfast and a nice cup of homegrown, homemade coffee in the middle of the jungle. We begin trekking around 8:00 am, and after approximately 45 minutes we join the original Inca Trail.Along the way you will witness the diverse flora and fauna of one of the richest biodiversity areas in the world. After around 3 hours of hiking, we arrive in Quellomayo town, where we will have lunch and take a rest in hammocks to prepare for the rest of the trip. After the break we continue trekking for around 3 hours, crossing farms, waterfalls. At around 4 pm we arrive at Cocalmayo – most known as the hot springs of Santa Teresa, where we will have the opportunity to take a relaxing, warm bath.
After the hot springs we continue hiking for about 50 minutes until we arrive the town of Santa Teresa where we will stay for a night. After dinner you will have free time to explore the village, or just relax and take a nap. Santa Teresa offers a variety of local pubs and discotheques where you can enjoy the nightlife, taste typical Peruvian beverages and meet the locals.
Today we have breakfast again at 6:45 am. After breakfast we continue exploring the routes followed by the first explorers who discovered Machu Picchu. In Santa Teresa there is a zip-line. The group will take the activity where they will spend around two hours zipping across the valley, enjoying spectacular scenery as they fly by. After the activity you will be taken by bus to the area known as Hydroelectric station. Where we have lunch. After a break we continue hiking along the railway, enjoying beautiful waterfalls, coffee and coca farms and much more. After 3 hours walking we arrive in Machu Picchu Pueblo late in the afternoon.
After an early morning breakfast, we hike for 1 hours 20 min up to the mysterious city of Machu Picchu that we enter for the early morning best photos opportunities and the Tour Guide shows you the Incan city, explains about its history and purposes. After the guided tour, you have an opportunity to climb up for about 45 minutes to Huayna Picchu, a peak above Machu Picchu that serves to take some panoramic pictures of the Incan city. In the afternoon, you will return by train to Ollantaytambo (alternatively to Poroy), from where you are taken by van back to Cusco.
