Terms & Conditions

According to Peruvian regulations, foreign tourists may be exempt from the local IGV tax (VAT – 18%). As a formally registered tour operator, we are required to submit to local authorities a copy of the document used to enter Peru (passport or immigration card), along with the date of entry into the country.

For this reason, a few days before your arrival, we will contact you to request a photo of this document and confirmation of your entry date.
If this information is not provided, we will be required to add the 18% IGV tax to your total.

Tour Cancellation Policy

• More than 30 days before the tour: 20% penalty of the total amount

• Between 7 and 30 days before the tour: 40% penalty of the total amount

• Less than 7 days before the tour: 100% penalty (no refund)

Date Change Policy

• More than 30 days before the tour: 5% penalty of the total amount

• Between 7 and 30 days before the tour: 10% penalty of the total amount

• Less than 7 days before the tour: 100% penalty

All changes are subject to availability.

Additional Conditions

• No refunds will be issued for flight delays, train delays, weather conditions, or other external factors beyond our control.

Force Majeure Policy

Happy Gringo Tours values your time and always strives to operate tours as planned. However, itineraries may be affected by force majeure events, including but not limited to adverse weather, heavy rains, natural disasters, strikes, road blockages, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

In such cases, no refunds or compensations will be provided, as these situations are unavoidable and unpredictable. Nevertheless, we will do our best to offer alternative solutions or adjustments whenever possible. Any additional costs resulting from changes or alternative arrangements will be the responsibility of the client.
