My boyfriend and I had a wonderful trip with Happy Gringo Tours to Machu Picchu! Our tour guide Marko provided us with highly interesting facts and stories about Machu Picchu and the other several sides we visited during our 2 day tour! As Marko is a local he gives you a personal perspective on things which is just great! He also knows a lot about Peruvian history , was super motivated and wanted us to have the best trip, which we had! Thank you Marko! We highly recommend! The organisation was also perfect
My wife and I went to Peru in the rainy season, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see Macchu Picchu. We booked this tour and ended up with a private tour. Our guide, Marco, was great! On the first day, he helped us navigate the trains and made sure we settled in well at the hotel. We weren’t sure what to expect with the hotel, but it was very nice. Our room faced the river and we had an incredible view (and natural white noise). The breakfast at the hotel was one of the best buffets we had experienced and it opened at 4:30 to ensure it served those up early. The morning of our hike, Marco walked us through everything to expect and was very knowledgeable about the history of the Incas. We opted to add the Huayna Picchu hike and are so glad we did! Marco joined us to ensure we were safe during the hike and even took some incredible photos of us along the way. Since he is familiar with the hike, he knew of great places to stop for photo ops. We would highly recommend this tour group to anyone!
We used them to book our trips to Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley. They handles all our permits and tickets as well as a private tour guide and transport, including train tickets up to Aguas Calientes town and back.
Very responsive to emails and queries. Their office is very easy to find in Cusco. Very nice and reliable company
Machu Picchu undoubtedly topped our bucket list. We were keen on visiting the renowned world wonder but also wanted to make sure we had a good tour operator, we are very thankful to our guide Marko and whole Happy Gringo team for their effort. We had a very nice view of the citadel from different angle and the guide knew lot of spots to get a clear view. We highly appreciate him.
There are many tour companies in Cusco offering this tour. After reading reviews of Happy Gringo Tours we decided to settle with them. It was the best deciosion. They are super professionals and Marko the owner himself guided the group. Everything went as it was in the itinerary. Extremely convincing trip and highly recommended.
