We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco. Then, we will drive you by private transport through the Sacred Valley of Incas to Ollantaytambo train station. Here, you will board the train to Aguas Calientes.
At Aguas Calientes, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel in town. You will have the evening to yourself. You can visit the natural hot springs in the town, after which the town gets its name.
Later in the evening, our tour guide will meet you at the hotel and brief you on the following day’s itinerary.
We will take a bus to Machu Picchu citadel early in the morning (buffet breakfast at the hotel is included on day two). Afterward, It will be a 30-minute drive up the hill. Our guide will assist you in clearing the security control and entering the citadel.
Once you enter the citadel, you will see a stunning view. The clouds will clear, and the sun’s golden rays will shine on the walls of Machu Picchu.
We will give you a two-hour guided tour. After the tour, you will have free time to explore the citadel independently. If you have booked a hike in Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountains, our guide will direct you to the trailhead.
