Arrival at Base & Horse Assignment (3 Hours from Cusco)

After roughly 3 hours of driving, we arrive at the Llactoc parking area (approx. 4,900 m). Here you’ll meet your horse and a local muleteer who will lead the horse and ensure your comfort. The terrain is now the mountain trails carved through puna grasslands and high-altitude plateaus.

Horseback Ride Uphill (55 to 60 Minutes)

Welcome to the true ride a horse to Rainbow Mountain segment. You’ll ride uphill through spectacular Andean landscapes toward the summit region.
