Following the tour, we will walk to the temple of Coricancha (The temple of the sun). Here, you will get an introduction to Incan architecture and also witness the impact of the Catholic influence.
It was here, the Spanish colonists built the Church of Santo Domingo after demolishing the temple and using its foundations. This is one of the numerous sites where the Spanish incorporated Inca stonework into the structure of a colonial building.
From the temple of Coricancha, we will drive you to the four archaeological sites around the city. Sacsayhuaman, with its incredible stones, each one weighing more than 100 tons. Then, just five minutes away from Sacsayhuaman, we will reach Qenqo and see its magical altar. After this, we will visit the archaeological sites of Puka Pukara (Red Fort) and Tambomachay (Temple of Water).
Ending our tour, we will return to the city center (San Francisco square or Regocijo square).

After a guided tour of the complex, we will continue to Urubamba. It is a charismatic town enveloped by tall Andean peaks. Here, we will stop for lunch.
After relishing a local buffet lunch (with vegan options) we will start our journey towards Ollantaytambo. It was once an administrative center of the Incas.
After a guided tour of the complex, you will be boarding a train to Aguas Calientes. Our representative will meet you at the train station and will transfer you to your hotel.
