Day 1Cusco City Tour

Our representative will be picking you up from the airport in Cusco and will be transferring you to the hotel in Cusco.

Cusco City Tour begins at 1:00 PM. We will begin the tour at Coricanhca, the Sun Temple.

Coricancha – The Sun Temple

Following the tour, we will walk to the temple of Coricancha (The temple of the sun). Here, you will get an introduction to Incan architecture and also witness the impact of the Catholic influence.

It was here, the Spanish colonists built the Church of Santo Domingo after demolishing the temple and using its foundations. This is one of the numerous sites where the Spanish incorporated Inca stonework into the structure of a colonial building.

Archaeological Sites

From the temple of Coricancha, we will drive you to the four archaeological sites around the city. Sacsayhuaman, with its incredible stones, each one weighing more than 100 tons. Here you will have an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the history and culture. You will also discover the meaning and importance of this iconic place.

Then, just five minutes away from Sacsayhuaman, we will reach Qenqo and see its magical altar. After this, we will visit the archaeological sites of Puka Pukara (Red Fort) and Tambomachay (Temple of Water).

End of The Tour

Ending our tour, we will return to the city center (San Francisco square or Regocijo square).

Day 2Sacred Valley of the Incas

At 08:00 in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco. We will then visit the Sacred Valley.

Our first stop will be in Pisac. It is popular for its handicraft market where the local vendors demonstrate and sell their artworks like clothes and decorative items.

After sauntering through the narrow alleys rimmed with stalls, we will take a bus uphill to the archaeological remains of Incas. The archaeological complex is just second to Machu Picchu in size.

After a guided tour of the complex, we will continue to Urubamba. It is a charismatic town enveloped by tall Andean peaks. Here, we will stop for lunch.

After relishing a local buffet lunch (with vegan options) we will start our journey towards Ollantaytambo. It was once an administrative center of the Incas.

After a guided tour of the complex, you will be boarding a train to Aguas Calientes. Our representative will meet you at the train station and will transfer you to your hotel.

You will have the evening free to yourself. You can visit the hot springs after which the town is named.

Day 3Machu Picchu

After breakfast, you will be taking a bus to visit Machu Picchu. It takes 30 minutes. Once at the entrance of Machu Picchu, our tour guide will meet you and assist you to pass through the checkpoint

You will have to display your entrance ticket which will be verified against your original passport.

Once inside, you will have two hours guided tour of this world-renowned site. On this tour, we will cover prime areas like – the main square, the sacred sundial, the circular tower, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Royal Quarters, and the cemeteries.

After the tour, you will have some free time to walk around. If you have booked your hike to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain, our guide will direct you to the respective trailhead.

Alternatively, you can visit the Sun gate. It requires no advance booking and is free to visit. You will get a spectacular view of the citadel from there. This is the point through which those on Inca Trail to Machu Picchu enter the citadel.

After the tour, you will have to take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes. Here you will be boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo.

Our representative will meet you on arrival and will drive you back to your hotel in Cusco. You will reach Cusco by 10:30 PM.

Day 4Rainbow Mountain

We will be picking you up from your hotel in Cusco at 0500 AM. Then in our private transport, we will be driving you along the South Valley of Cusco to Hanchi Pacha, Pitumarca Village. It is a three hours drive.

Here we will be serving a traditional breakfast. We will then begin the Rainbow Mountain Trek for two and a half hours to the summit at 5030 meters above sea level.

Along the hike, you get to see Llamas, Alpacas, local people, and the most spectacular colorful rocky mountains. From the summit, you can hike further to the iconic Red Valley.

After enjoying Vinicunca, we will be hiking for two hours down the hill back to the place where we started the hike. Here we will be serving you lunch. After lunch, we will be driving you back to Cusco city.

Day 5Cusco Airport Drop Off

After breakfast, we will be picking you up from your hotel in Cusco and will be transferring you to the airport for your onward flight.
