Full Itinerary – Colca Canyon 2 Days

Day 1Arequipa – Patapampa – Chivay – Hot Springs

Your adventure begins early in the morning with hotel pick-up in Arequipa. We head north toward the Colca Valley, passing through the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, home to vicuñas, alpacas, and llamas.

We stop at the Patapampa Volcano Viewpoint (4,910 m), the highest point of the journey, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of volcanoes such as Misti, Chachani, and Ampato.

Upon arrival in Chivay, you will have free time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, you may choose to relax at the La Calera hot springs, surrounded by impressive mountain scenery.

Overnight stay in Chivay.

Day 2Chivay – Cruz del Condor – Villages – Arequipa

After breakfast, we travel to the highlight of the tour: Cruz del Condor. Here you will admire the vast depth of Colca Canyon and observe the majestic Andean condor gliding above the cliffs.

On the return journey, we stop in the traditional villages of Maca and Yanque, known for their colonial churches and cultural traditions.

After lunch time in Chivay (not included), we begin the return trip to Arequipa, arriving in the late afternoon.
