2-Day Ayahuasca Retreat in the Sacred Valley

Cusco – Sacred Valley Retreat Center – Cusco
Duration 2 days
Group size Max 8
Difficulty Easy
Language English, Spanish
Tour Overview

Step away from the pace of Cusco for a focused two-day retreat in the Sacred Valley. This short experience combines careful preparation, one traditional evening ceremony, quiet overnight rest, and guided integration the following morning.

The retreat is designed for travelers seeking a respectful introduction in a small-group setting. It is a cultural and spiritual experience—not a quick tourist attraction, psychotherapy, or medical treatment.

Highlights

  • Preparation before the ceremony and guided integration afterward
  • A quiet natural setting away from the city
  • Small-group attention with English and Spanish support
  • Mandatory confidential health screening before confirmation
  • Vegetarian meals and one night of retreat accommodation

Responsible participation

Ayahuasca is psychoactive and may interact dangerously with certain medications and health conditions. Every guest must complete a confidential health and medication questionnaire before the booking is confirmed. Participation may be declined after screening.

Never stop or change prescribed medication on your own. Any medication change must be discussed with the prescribing clinician. No outcome or healing result can be guaranteed.

Morning pickup from your Cusco hotel is followed by a private transfer into the Sacred Valley. On arrival, the team introduces the retreat space, explains the schedule, and reviews personal intentions, boundaries, and practical safety guidance.

A light vegetarian lunch is served, followed by time to rest, journal, or walk quietly in nature. Before sunset, participants gather for final preparation and a traditional cleansing ritual.

The ayahuasca ceremony takes place in the evening in a dedicated ceremonial room. The facilitator and support team remain present throughout the scheduled experience. After the closing, participants rest overnight at the retreat center.

Day 1 details
  • Pickup: Central Cusco hotel
  • Meals: Light vegetarian lunch and dinner
  • Overnight: Retreat accommodation in the Sacred Valley

The morning begins slowly with a light breakfast. A guided integration circle offers space to reflect on the experience without pressure to share. There is additional quiet time for journaling, grounding, and rest, followed by lunch.

The return transfer reaches Cusco during the afternoon. We strongly recommend keeping the rest of the day free and avoiding a flight, alcohol, or demanding activity immediately after the retreat.
