Highlight of the day: Exploring Cusco on foot while discovering its history, culture, and local life.

We begin the tour at a previously agreed meeting point in the historic center of Cusco. From there, we set off on a relaxed walking tour through the city’s most emblematic areas.

Our first stop is San Pedro Market, one of the oldest and liveliest markets in Cusco, where you’ll see local products, traditional foods, and everyday life in action.

We then visit the Craft Market along Avenida El Sol, a great place to see and purchase local handicrafts such as alpaca textiles, jewelry, and traditional souvenirs.

Next, we head to Qorikancha, the former Temple of the Sun and the most important religious site of the Inca Empire. Here, you’ll learn how Inca architecture and Spanish colonial structures coexist in one place (entrance optional).

The walk continues to the artistic neighborhood of San Blas, known for its narrow streets, artisan workshops, and beautiful viewpoints over the city.

We then visit the Sapantiana Colonial Aqueduct, a peaceful and lesser-known colonial structure, before finishing the tour along 7 Borreguitos Street, one of Cusco’s most charming and photogenic streets.

At the end of the tour, you’ll have free time to continue exploring Cusco at your own pace.
